Shambhu, a Nepali by origin, currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA with his family. He has a doctorate degree in Economics and Community Development from the University of the Philippines (Los Baños) and a BS in Law from the Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
 
He is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of their family law firm, Sahara Legal and Associates, with their son, Atty. Rajan O. Dhungana at the helm. Shambhu is also an entrepreneur and currently oversees the Dhungana family business with five (5) eyebrow threading salons across southern California.
 
He loves to travel, dance and has been an active community volunteer of various Nepali groups and associations in the US and internationally; as well as with other local charitable organizations in Los Angeles.
