M Guillermo Romero

Guillermo Romero, as he likes to be called, was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and attended college in both Colombia and the United States. He has a degree in Architecture from the Universidad del Atlántico in Barranquilla, Colombia and a master's degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature from San Francisco State University.
 
Guillermo was the co-founder of the Construction Training program at the City College of San Francisco, as well as a program coordinator and teacher for 30 years. He also worked for the San Francisco Department of Mental Health as a counselor for people with emotional and mental disabilities for 22 years. Now, he is an Advisor to the Kindness Club Cuenca in Ecuador. He enjoys art, space design and making rock sculptures.
 
Regarding the meaning of kindness, it is that which is given voluntarily without the hope of being repaid.
