Sweta Sherchan is from Pokhara, Nepal. For 12 years, she served as Branch Manager for a well reputed nationwide bank. Today she feels very fortunate to introduce herself as the charter treasurer of Kindness Club Pokhara. She earned her master’s degree in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University, Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara.
 
In 2021, Sweta became the charter president of Lions Club of Pokhara Seti Ganga. She nows serves as its Immediate Past President. During her two-year tenure, the club sponsored programs with a special focus on women’s health and beauty, which is much needed in Nepal. To single out some programs: diabetes and VIA screening, blood donation and skincare. The club has also gifted food and clothes to Pokhara Ārogya Āshram as well as to others. The club has also raised money for emergency medical care. She believes that we must serve and help the person in need.
 
She wrote, “kindness comes from the emotion of feeling another’s pain as your own.”
